Long Time Minions!

Minions! Hello again! It has been a long time since I last posted, before we saw BigBang in concert actually. We've been so very busy last part of last year, and for most of January. We are so happy that we have been able to stay busy and to provide videos for your entertainment.


We are working on a lot of new projects, and even some contests!!! We want it to go well so we are trying to take our time. It's difficult to get things done as quickly as we want because of school and work that both Mindy and I have. We wish that this was our only vocation, because we really do love it!!!

If you have not heard about this drama yet, YOU MUST WATCH IT!!!

Flower Boy Next Door starring Park Shin Hye, and Yoon Si Yoon, is probably my favorite drama of all time! Yoon Si Yoon is absolutely adorable in it! He is just so complicated with how innocent and yet deep his character is. Park Shin Hye is just as amazing as she always is, making me believe that she is my favorite drama actress! 

I won't bore you all anymore with my stories. I miss hanging out with you guys on our live chats, so we will try to get something arranged really soon!! Hopefully we can hang out soon!!

Procrastinating...

Ok. I have two midterms tomorrow, and I simply cannot focus. So, I figured blogging would be a great idea!!

I will say the GD's new album (which I finally got in the mail yesterday) has been distracting me the most. Every time one of his songs start playing I find myself overcome with a desire to get up and dance like a crazy person!!! Especially to Light It Up, which I have an unnatural obsession with. GD!!!! Please let me study!!!!

In other news, I have a personal Twitter account!!!!!! After our live chat this past weekend, I decided I wanted to use the couple name that was given to me as a Twitter name.....so.... my twitter is @topandkatie and my name is TOkie!!!! hahahaha Yes I know I have reached a new low on the obsession front. But! TOP will never know about it, so I think I'm good!


In other, other news, we are finally able to afford to upgrade some of our equipment!!! REJOICE!!!! I'm not sure exactly when, but soon. We are so grateful to everyone who has chosen to like our craziness enough to continue to watch us. Honestly, we know we are really crazy, but we're glad it's a crazy that can be appreciated!!!!


22 DAYS UNTIL BIGBANG CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously guys, I'm freaking stoked!! We are in fact planning on vlogging the entire trip--from the moment we leave for the airport until we touched back home--even if it's boring at times. We want to make you guys a part of this amazing experience. BTW, this is officially the very first concert I have ever been to. I'm freaking excited!!!!! It would be cool if we could meet some of the Minions while we are there, but we will not be arranging a fan meet of any kind. It's mostly for safety reasons, not that we are afraid of you guys, but I know how crazy crowds of people can get and I don't want us to cause any trouble and get kicked out.......I would be ticked. So! Say hi if you see us, but don't make a big deal out of it!  okay!

So Little Time!!!!

Oh Minions, I wish I had more time to spend on this site and on youtube!!! School is seriously taking up like all of my time!! I have a weakness for awesome kpop MVs, which then distracts me from homework, which then makes me have less time!! ahhh!!

Okay Minho, I will attempt it!!!

We have our first live chat scheduled for this Friday (Saturday in Korea). I hope it will be a fun experience for everyone, and hopefully everyone will not realize just how lame we really are...hahaha.

 Someone said they hope we don't crash the servers like Simon and Martina have. Yeah. 'Cus we totally have enough viewers to do that....haha, it's a funny thought, but HIGHLY doubtful. But, I never say never!!!
We intend to have fun, and you can join us to have some fun too!! haha. It should be pretty chill, kinda like a mini fan meet (only we don't have ANY talents to share) since we can't hold a real fan meet. If it goes well and you all like it, then we'll do it again and at different times of the day so more people can participate.

Oh!!! In just a few weeks I will be dying my hair to look like Jennie Kim in "That XX"!!! Not really sure how it will go, but this is my first step into going back to blonde!! I really hope it doesn't kill my hair...haha. But I'm excited for a change!!

Amanda's Wedding

Well Minions, Amanda is finally married to Jim!!!! She looked absolutely GORGEOUS!! And Jim was quite dashing. They are so happy!!

I attempted to vlog at least part of the day, but being a bridesmaid is a lot more work than you think! Well, at least more than I originally thought. It was so much fun though, that in the end it didn't matter.

Yes Minions, we did in fact dance Gangnam Style!!! It was so much fun watching everyone get up and at least try to do the dance, even a lot of the Americans didn't really know what was going on. Jim's side of the family got right up and danced with us, singing along as well, it was so much fun!!!! And of course I danced like a crazy person! Haha but I didn't care because it was just so much fun!

It was a very long day!! Luckily I had friends from the NGKA (Next Generation Korean Americans) to keep me company in between the parts of the wedding I was needed for. Which also meant that I forgot to vlog very much....sorry. haha I was just having way too much fun enjoying everything! The atmosphere was great, and I'm pretty sure we all had a pretty good time.

Now Amanda is a married woman.... It feels so weird to say that!

Kpop Apartment!!!! :D

Well Minions, I have officially moved into my BRAND NEW APARTMENT!!!!

Yes TOP, I am serious. I have moved closer to school and work since driving to and from was seriously getting old. Yes that means I am no longer living with Mindy.

But! We will still see each other pretty much every day, and we will be doing reactions once a week. We want to go on more adventures for vlogging too! But back to my new apartment. While prepping to decorate my awesome new room, I simply could not think of any better decorations than KPOP!!! Behold the beginnings of my Kpop bedroom!!!

It's not very much right now, and I also REALLY want to get BigBang blankets for my bed, but I will continue to add to my awesome Kpop decorations and make the Kpop room EPIC!!! 

In other news, MNET is now following us on Youtube and Twitter! Weird, huh??! They re-tweeted our BigBang Blue Reaction saying that it was an awesome vid. Not really sure what to think about this.....I just hope we don't mess up too much in our videos for them to disown us...haha.

The only other news I can think of is about our G-Dragon Reaction vid, which has now gained approximately 21,000 views..... 

I'm not sure I want this particular video to go viral, since I was so sick during it!!! I simply COULD NOT wait a few days to get better before I could watch this MV. There was just no way I could last that long. It was hard enough waiting a couple hours! It's my personal opinion that the reason why we are getting so many hits on this reaction video is simply because people recognize us now. Lets hope the haters don't start commenting on this video....... 

Well Minions, I'm off to try to get some sleep and recover from this stupid cold, hopefully before school starts back on Monday. 

BTW! We just upgraded to a new computer (Mindy's new computer to be exact) and hopefully the quality of our videos will be much improved. However, that now means that Mindy will be doing most of the editing, and I will now be taking over the request list...yipee...

Why Now?

For some odd reason, at the beginning of every semester I manage to get sick!! I cannot remember a semester where I wasn't at least mildly sick. Though it annoys me, I've dealt with it for years. But this year was a little different.


I had to go to the hospital yesterday as I really could not breathe very well, and it was starting to get painful. The doctor didn't really know why I was having so much trouble breathing, until he set me up on a breathing treatment and discovered that I have a virus induced Asthma condition. Well that's news to me!!! I can breathe now, which is great, but I'm frustrated because I am still feeling really sick AND GD'S NEW MV JUST CAME OUT!!!!!!!

I'm debating whether or not I am well enough to do the reaction video with Mindy....I NEED TO SEE THIS MV!!! But it's hard to talk a lot right now, and you all know I'll be freaking out a lot!! I mean, it's freaking GD we're talking about!!!!! XD

It might be funnier this way though, since I get really weird when I'm sick. Mindy can attest to this. Yesterday all I really wanted was to cuddle with TOP.... So I kept
mumbling things about TOP and where was he and other crazy
stuff like that. Mindy thought it was hilarious...the brat! AND she promised that she would go and kidnap TOP for me, and she hasn't yet!!!

Maybe that's enough of revealing my insanity for one day....Being sick sure turns off my filter! haha

GD Solo Album Delay?????

So frustrated!!!!!! We had a count-down to the supposed release date for G-Dragon's new solo album, but there has been no release yet!!!!

There has been a lot of talk about the new restriction on music videos, and how this is delaying the debut process for Korean MVs. Because they all must be reviewed and approved by this committee, it's taking a long time to get the MVs up. There's also always the possibility that they could be denied and then must redesign and re-film the MV, which is just ridiculous!!! 

That's a lot of time and money wasted. I can understand restricting what is put on television, but to restrict and regulate everything that goes on sites like Youtube, that just seems way too extreme to me. No one is forced to watch anything on Youtube, therefore we should have the ability to choose to watch these MVs, even if they don't match the criteria for being displayed on television. 

Sigh...I feel better now that I've ranted a bit. In the end, GD will produce an amazing album and an equally as amazing MV. This is GD we're talking about. He never fails to impress us. No matter what he does, you just HAVE to love him!!!!
